How do I recharge my soul and energy?
The solution is to find one or two simple things you can really do daily or weekly that will bring you inner peace and awakening.
Here is a list of soul-energizing activities for you to consider:
1. Deep Breaths
Deep breathing: Take in more oxygen to signal to your nervous system that things are calming down. With slow, deep breathing, any intense or anxious energy will oscillate, and you will feel more calm and grounded.
2. Salt your bath
There’s nothing more relaxing than a nice, warm bath, and by adding mineral salt (like Epsom salts), you can gain even more benefits. They are so good for your skin, help repair damaged cells, stimulate blood flow, and provide for a general detox. Take your time here (take an hour!), light candles, play binaural beats or Ishq, and a few drops of pure essential oils like Lavender, as it will also help you to relax and unwind even more so.
3. Turn your worries into smoke
One of the oldest aura cleansing practices is smudging with dried white sage, thyme, cedar, or palo santo (my favourite). Smudging is basically the burning of sacred herbs and using the smoke coming out of it, to cleanse your aura. To do so, light the bundle of herbs like an incense stick and pass the smoke gently over each and every part of your body.
4. Ground Yourself
Ground by walking barefoot in nature– coming into contact with the earth’s electromagnetic field and natural minerals helps you to dissipate negative energy and receive the energy of the earth. The free electrons from the earth transferred into your body is one of the most potent antioxidants known in research. Laying on the earth can also have amazing health benefits.
5. Gratitude Journaling
Instead of focusing on problems, start gratitude journaling. There are always, always, always things to be grateful for, so take a few moment to make note of what is going well!
ow to tell when your battery needs an extra boost
Once you start paying attention to what drains you and what fuels you, you’ll notice right away if things are out of balance.
Your ability to rest can be a great gauge of how well you’re coping with daily strains. Adults need 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night. If you’re getting enough sleep and still feel drained, it’s a good sign you need to move some plugs around in your day.
Sleeping too much or too little can also be a sign you need more restorative activities.
If recharging doesn’t seem to work, an underlying medical condition could be slowing you down. If you have ruled this out, and can’t recharge your batteries alone, transformative life coaching could very well be what you need to release the negative thinking patterns and emotions that are weighing you down and holding you back.
